Utada Hikaru Cancels US Tour!?

12 05 2009

Sadly you read that correctly. Utada Hikaru has cancelled her US tour due to Pertonsillitis–a more severe form of tonsillitis which she says she gets once or twice a year. Here is her message to her disappointed fans.I suppose a lot of you have heard already; I’ve had to cancel the instore events that were scheduled for this week.

The reason is, I’m sick. I came down with a case of “peritonsillitis”—it’s basically a more severe form of tonsillitis, in which the area around the tonsils get badly swollen as well.

This happens this to me once or twice a year, when I’m extremely tired and my immune system gets in bad shape.

I was in bed this past week, making daily trips to the hospital to get intravenous administration of hardcore medication, and now I’m near the end of the recovering stage, but the problem with this condition is that I have to be very careful until it is completely take care of, as it tends to easily come back.

It was decided that I’m in no shape to be traveling and working for a while.

I’m trying to rest as much as possible, relax a little and take it easy.

I apologize to my fans who were looking forward to the events, and to everyone involved with organizing these events.

I’m glad she’s recovering—her health is more important, make sure you send your “Get well vibes” her way. I did read somewhere in a previous statement that they said she looks forward to reschedualing her tour. Could this be a sign of hope? Who knows. Get well Utada!!!

Utada Hikaru Plans US Autograph Tour!!!

4 05 2009

Oh my god. Utada Hikaru. New York City. Autograph.

Once I read those 3 phrases I flipped out!!! She’s gonna be in NYC and several other places in America promoting her new English Album “This is the One”. My favorite songs (from what I have heard) are “Apple and Cinnamon” and “Come Back to Me”. I’ve been praying that I would some day be able to meet her, because she too is on my “List of people to meet in my life”. Oh this list does exist by the way. Seeing as how i keep referencing it I should let you know it’s real. But ya she’ll be at the Best Buy on 44th street and 5th ave. on May 12th at 7pm. I recently saw pictures of when she did her very brife tour at 3 Sephora cosmetic stores in NYC and several other locations. My god. Every Asian-American person in NYC must have been pushed up against the glass of the store just to see her! She really is that popular. In Japan she’s known as “Japan’s Greatest Singer”. Her hit songs “Hikari” and “Passion” are most familiar to gamers and anyone whoes played Kingdom Hearts I & II.

Her new CD will be $9.99 at Best Buy and will include 3 bonus tracks: Simple and Clean, Sanctuary (Intro), and Sanctuary (After the Battle)

MP3 Test

13 08 2008

Don’t mind this post, I’m just testing out how to post music. The song I’m testing with is one I’m sure people of the Anime/Gaming occult know of. “Xepher” by Tatsh is not owned by me. I have nothing to do with them I’m simply using the song as a test. Got that? I DON’T OWN THE SONG OR ANY MUSIC! Now that the legal matters are cleared up please enjoy and have a pessimistic day…(T_T)Xepher

Soul Legend Isaac Hayes Passes Away…

10 08 2008

Not only do we loose Bernie Mac but Isaac Hayes too!? Ugh! Now can you understand my pessimistic view of the world. Hayes was found near a treadmill, and was unresponsive. Hayes will always be remembered for voicing “Chef” in South Park as well as his amazing music. His album “Hot Buttered Soul” is what made Hayes not only a star but a legend that will surely go down in history. May he rest in peace.

Isaac Hayes, may he rest peace

Apple Deletes $1000 App from itunes Store

10 08 2008

Apple recently gave the boot to one of its apps. The “I am Rich” costs $1000 and merely shows you a picture of a ruby on you’re ipod touch or iphone. They deleted the app due to fears of class action lawsuits being filed because some people “hit the buy button by mistake”. There are a few things I don’t get. One, who would want to make some app that costs $1000 and expect to have people buy it. The answer is Armin Heinrich, a German software developer. My second question, who in their right minds would actually buy such a useless app. the answer to that is about 8 people. Chances are those 8 people figured that they would get “socially accepted” by purchasing something so useless because of the old phrase “Hey all the kids are doing it”.

Once you buy "I am Rich" you'll have to update to "I am Poor"
